Planning & Development: Meeting 1

We had a meeting to discuss what we needed to do for the rest of the year, which including a check on what drafts we have come up with, checking that everyone was up to date with the days we would be filming and the hiring the equipment.

Our teachers also looked at how much progress we had made since the picthes and he gave us some critic on what we needed to sort out amongst our group. This feedback was helpful because she then were able to think over the christmas break what we focus on in order to achieve the task objectives.

Development: Response from picth

Yes!

We successfully passed the picth stage and our ideas were good. We were told to develop upon our story board and our ancillary tasks need to be consistent throughout the group, as they need to all look alike. However other than that, we had positive feedback from our teachers. Now we need to film!

Planning: Our Pitch!

We pitched our music video to our media teachers and presented them with some information, research, ancillary task drafts, storyboards to look over and to get some feedback from about our proposed ideas. This process helped us as a group to think through ideas in more detail, as our teachers were able to give us critique on whether what we have will work, is good and what direction we need to continue to take. It was important for us to go through this process as well because it gave us all a feeling as though we were really pitching our music video to a record company.
