Before beginning the music video, we all needed to decide on a final song choice for the group, we researched into the different music genres that we like and could potentially choose a song from. The genres we researched were, pop, RnB, rock and indie pop. We created mood boards based on what we thought would consist of the different genres of music.

We decided to go with the band Paramore based on the fact that their genre of music was in a field that neither of us in the group were particularly familiar with and we thought it would be more of a challenge for us as a group and it would also help us because we would have to do vigorous research into the rock/emo/alternative rock genre in order to understand the conventions of that specific genre.
